Bring a BookSmiles FAIR Book Fair to Your School!
Every child deserves the joy of choosing books to keep. BookSmiles provides schools with enough gently used and like-new children's books so every student can select at least three free books to build their own home library. It's a fun, engaging literacy event that gives schools an affordable alternative to traditional corporate book fairs—without asking families to spend money.
How do I request a BookSmiles FAIR Book Fair?
Simply complete the request form below.
Schools serving 75% or more students receiving free or reduced-price lunch may qualify for a BookSmiles-sponsored Book Fair.
Schools that do not meet that threshold are still welcome to participate through one of our affordable cost-sharing options.
New Jersey public schools may be able to use PRIDE funding to support this program. Many schools also receive support from their PTO, school administration, local businesses, or community sponsors.
Because every BookSmiles Fair Book Fair is free for students, donations and participation fees help our nonprofit continue putting books into the hands of children who need them most.
