Small donations
Individual or small donations may be dropped off at our BookSmiles location during regular business hours. If you have a small amount of books to donate, you may find a painted collection bin near you. See list below.
Home and estate libraries
For qualifying home or estate libraries of five or more full bookshelves, we may be able to arrange a pickup.

- Young adult books
- Adult books and home or estate libraries
- We accept ALL books: Fiction, non-fiction, class sets, library discards, cookbooks, religious, art, dictionaries, encyclopedias, maps and newspapers.
What happens to adult or older books?
BookSmiles partners with trusted book resellers who:
- exchange full gaylords of adult books for children’s books, or
- resell books and return a portion of the proceeds to support our operating expenses.
Small donations
Individual or small donations may be dropped off at our BookSmiles location during regular business hours. If you have a small amount of books to donate, you may find a painted collection bin near you. See list below.
