Downsizing, moving, or settling an estate? Let BookSmiles help give your books a meaningful second chapter.
Our Estate Library Pick-Up Service provides a convenient way to donate large book collections while supporting our nonprofit mission of putting books into the hands of children. Children's books help fuel our literacy programs, while adult books are responsibly repurposed to generate funding for BookSmiles' operations and mission. Your pick-up fee is a tax-deductible contribution that helps offset transportation, labor, and processing costs, allowing us to continue serving thousands of children and educators throughout the region. Pick-Up Range Donation 0–20 miles: $200 21–35 miles: $300 35–50 miles: $400 Collection Requirements Minimum of 25 fully packed boxes of books. Boxes should be staged in a garage or by the main entrance for easy loading. We accept children's and adult books. |

Additional Service Fees
If books are not packed in boxes, or if they must be carried from upper floors, basements, or locations requiring multiple flights of stairs, additional labor fees may apply. We'll gladly discuss these details when scheduling your pickup.
