The Best Month Yet

We received 7,860 books this month, putting us at 32,750 books collected since we started in October 2016.  I have confidence that within the next year-and-a-half, we will have gathered and distributed 100,000 books, mainly among Lindenwold's children.

Today, the last day of February, Jared Miller, who goes to Bret Harte Elementary School, supplied all of the books that BookSmiles distributed at a pop-up book fair at Lindenwold's Preschool.  Jared collected an amazing 1,400 books among his classmates and neighbors for Kindness Week!

This is the sweet spot - when children and students spearhead drives and then come to the pop-up book fairs to share with other kids!  Currently, children at Rosa Middle School are collecting books for kids at Thomas Paine Elementary!  

In the photos below, you can see teachers about to transfer 1,000 books from BookSmiles' Command Central in the high school to their students in Lindenwold Elementary School #5.
